Join Us for Our Feast Day!

Writer: Fr. Thomas ColyandroFr. Thomas Colyandro

On Friday and Saturday, November 5-6, 2021, we will be hosting the second celebration of our monastery's feast day since moving to Monteagle. As resources are still very limited and construction is still in progress, the celebration will be low key and simple.

Great Vespers, followed by Small Compline with the Canon of Preparation for Holy Communion, and the Akathist to the Mother of God, Joy of All Who Sorrow, will begin at 5 p.m. on Friday evening.

On Saturday morning, the Divine Liturgy will begin at 10 a.m. and followed by a fellowship meal in the hermitage. Please feel free to join us on this auspicious day!

If you are unable to attend in person, would you please consider sending us a donation? All you have to do is click this direct link https://www.powr.io/checkout_screen?unique_label=1a900384_1585410263 or click the PayPal button at the bottom of our homepage: Orthodox Monastery Monteagle Tennessee (monteaglemonastery.org).
